Maxi Cosi Axiss FAQ

Questions about the Maxi-Cosi Axiss Rotating Child Seat, the car seat that twists towards you.

Is my baby ready for a Maxi-Cosi Axiss Group 1 car seat?

There are a few signs that should help you determine if your child is ready to move from their current Group 0 car seat to the Maxi Cois Axiss Group One seat

  • Is he/she aged 9 months+
  • Does he/she weigh at least 9 kg
  • Can he/she sit up un-aided
  • Does his or her head reach the top of the Group 0 seat
  • Does he/she exceed the weight limits for the Group 0 car seat

Rear-facing seats do provide a greater protection for baby’s neck, head and spine so it is important to keep them in a Group 0 car seat until they have developed enough for a Group 1 seat. If you are not 100% sure, it’s advisable to get your child weighed by a health visitor and seek professional advice.
